Disability Sports NI is Northern Ireland’s main disability sports organisation,
working to promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities to take
part in sport and physical recreation at a level of their choice. The
organisation currently organises a range of events, participation
programmes, training courses and services, which last year benefitted over
15,000 children and adults across Northern Ireland.
In order to extend our work, we are currently recruiting the following posts:
Salary Scale NJC 33-38: £27,849-£31,754
Essential Criteria for the above post will include:
• Part-qualified accountant/qualified accountant and member of a relevant chartered accountant body
• Three years full time experience (or equivalent part-time) in a financial position.
• Demonstrable experience of developing, implementing and monitoring organisational policies and
procedures.
• Demonstrable experience of managing or supervising staff.
Salary Scale NJC 29-34: £24,646-£28,636
Essential Criteria for the above post will include:
• A degree (or equivalent third level qualification), in a discipline relevant to the duties of the post.
• Three years full time (or part-time equivalent) employment experience as a practitioner in
fundraising, marketing, communications or sales.
• A proven track record of successful fundraising.
Salary Scale NJC 22-28: £19,621-£23,708
Essential criteria for the above post will include:
• A degree (or equivalent third level qualification), in a discipline related to the duties of the post.
• Two years full time experience (or part-time equivalent) of sports development, sports coaching,
community development or working with people with disabilities.
